In Support of the Lebanese Red Cross - Artists for Lebanon: Benefit Auction 2020

On August 4th, a massive explosion devastated Lebanon’s capital Beirut, paralyzing a country already reeling from an economic crisis and global pandemic. Hundreds were killed, thousands injured, and over 300,000 people were displaced. The scale of devastation to the country’s infrastructure is immeasurable.

Organized and facilitated by Taymour Grahne and Noura Al-Maashouq, “Artists for Lebanon” is an emergency benefit auction to support the Lebanese Red Cross in its ongoing efforts to respond to the catastrophe now and in the years to come. It features the works of over 40 of the world’s most exciting and sought after international artists, all inspired by the unity and resilience of the Lebanese people.

Established in 1945, the Lebanese Red Cross is today one of the country’s most trusted public nonprofit institutions. Its mission is to provide relief to victims of natural and human disasters, prevent and respond to emergencies, and mitigate the suffering of the most vulnerable. Since early August, the LRC has continued to operate on the ground and is gearing up for a long-term humanitarian response. The LRC relies on generous donations to support and sustain its vital work aiding Lebanon’s most vulnerable.

Bidding in this auction will close on Thursday October 1, 2020 at 4:00pm BST (11:00am EDT).

The proceeds of this benefit auction are donated to Lebanese Red Cross.
